Imphal, July 21 2024: epartment of Information Technology in association with M/S HCLTech will conduct skill development training with job placement programme in IT sector called 'HCL TechBee Manipur' for students who have completed class XII in 2023/2024 .

In a notice, Bishnupur deputy commissioner and District e-Governance Society (DeGS) chairman, Lourembam Bikram notified that counselling cum examination for recruitment will be conducted on July 23 at ECHEL Computer, Bishnupur Ward No 4, from 11 am onwards.

Government of Manipur will provide subsidy of Rs 50,000 on the training fees for candidates selected from the state and facilitate loan amount for the remaining amount, it informed.

The notice mentioned that students must have completed class XII in 2023/2024 with overall 65 per cent or more in Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur or overall 70 per cent under CBSE/ISC board.

Candidates who have scored 60 per cent or more marks in matherhatics/busi-ness mathematics are eligible for IT roles with candidates not having mathematics would be considered for associate roles (non-IT) .
