INC ticket aspirant vows development of Lilong AC

Social worker Sayed Anwar Hussain, who is seeking nomination as the Indian National Congress (INC) candidate for Lilong AC in the upcoming 2022 election, has promised to utilise fund released for the AC by the government in taking up developmental and welfare activities of,the people of the AC, if elected.
Addressing a gathering during an interaction with the local youths, enrolment cum social media training programme held at his residence on Sunday, Anwar Hussain said that he decided to contest election with the sole aim of serving people and bringing development in Lilong AC.
Around 729 people joined INC during the enrolment programme jointly organised by Lilong Block Congress Committee and Lilong Block Youth Congress Committee.
Drawing attention of the people in Lilong AC, Anwar Hussain appealed for supporting him so as to bring development and change in Lilong AC.
Khangabok MLA Okram Surjakumar, who also attended the programme, said that BJP came to power with cheap propaganda in the last election and false promise of creating jobs in terms of crores and bringing black money from Swiss bank.
However, people are now fully aware of BJP's antics during election time and the party is sure to suffer the consequences of making tall promises in the coming election, he said, adding that Congress party would come back with majority in 2022 election and form the next government in the state.
