Traffic detours set for Nupee Lal Numit

Imphal, December 10 2024: In connection with the Nupee Lal Numit observance on December 12 at the Nupee Lal Complex and GP Women's College central hall, the Traffic Control Police Wing (TCPW) has announced traffic diversions to ensure public safety and smooth conduct of the event.

According to TCPW SP, the diversions will be effective from 6 am on December 12 till conclusion of the commemoration.

Vehicles moving from Imphal East towards the General Post Office (GPO) will be diverted towards Moirangkhom, and from Singjamei towards Keishamthong via Moirangkhom.

The notification also informed that additional diversions might be implemented as needed around the venue of the event.

However, no restrictions will apply to vehicles engaged in emergency services or those assigned specific duties related to the event.

The directive excludes WIP and VIP vehicles, as well as those attending the function.
