NRFM claims Nagamapal, Khurai blasts

Imphal, May 08 2022: The armed National Revolutionary Front, Manipur (NRFM) claimed responsibility for the bomb blasts that occurred at PG Paints Centre, Nagamapal and agriculture EE RK Birendra's Khurai residence on morning of May 5 and 6 respectively.

According to art NRFM statement issued by its information and publicity secretary Sanajaoba Meitei, agriculture EE RK Birendra's boastful remark and activities portrayed the outfit in poor light.

Further stating that the engineer's stand tantamount to belittling cause of the NRFM, it asked all concerned, RK Birendra and his conspirators particularly former agriculture minister O Lukhoi to clarify to the outfit at the earliest.

The statement also contended that it would expose their faults and initiate suitable action in case of failure to comply with the advice to issue the clarification.

While maintaining that that outfit takes utmost precaution to prevent collateral damage in executing its action and does not want violence, the NRFM also appealed to owners of properties damaged in the blasts to pardon the outfit.

The outfit also assured to the people particularly residents of Khurai Thoidingjam Leikai to prevent violent activities at its level best in future.
