CM extends greetings on Flag Day

Imphal, December 06 2024: Chief minister N Biren Singh extended greetings to all rank and file of the armed forces, and ex-servicemen and their families on the occasion of the Armed Forces Flag Day, 2024 .

In his message, CM Biren said that it is a day to honour the brave men and women who have made supreme sacrifices to protect the country.

"On this day, we also remember the families who are enduring the emotional and physical toll of separation from their loved ones.

In remembering them, we must reflect on the values of patriotism, freedom and unity," he said, while stating that the bravery and dedication of the armed forces will always be a source of inspiration for generations to come.

On the occasion, he appealed to the people to contribute generously towards the Armed Forces Flag Day fund in support of the families of the brave soldiers who had sacrificed their lives in defending the sovereignty and integrity of the country.
