ESF Maram's fresher's meet cum felicitation held

Kangpokpi, August 31 2014: The 5th fresher's meet cum felicitation of Eimi Students' Fellowship, Maram was organized on Saturday at Taphou Kuki Village by Kuki Students' Organization, Sadar Hills.

K.Raishuna, President Maram Union; Emboi Serto, President ATSUM and Paotinthang Lupheng, President, KSO Hen.

HQ graced the occasion as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Functional President respectively.

Apart from the dignitaries, various tribe organization leaders, students of Maram College as well as Pupung Hangshing, Social Worker, Marahang Ngiimai, Gen.

ATSUM attended the function.

Speaking on the occasion K.Raishuna, President Maram Union lauded the toppers from among the Eimi Students' Fellowship, Maram in the recently declared MU 2014 result, who were also felicitated today and urged them to excel in every aspect of life.

Emboi Serto, President ATSUM in his brief speech emphasized the importance of the theme of the Fellowship "Learn to Serve" .

John Zou, Lecturer, DBC, Maram, while leading the exchange of leadership, explained the term Eimi in the fellowship and said it means someone whom we called our own.

Among other toppers in the MU 2014 results who were felicitated on the occasion, Chinneilam Touthang, who stood rank 1 in English was given a cash prize of Rs.1000/- by the Chief Guest.

Other toppers were also felicitated by presenting a memento each.

Solo, duet and various other entertainment items performed by the students marked the occasion which ended with a grand feast served to all participants.
