Imphal, December 31 2019: Members of Manipur State Council CPI namely N Singhajit and RK Amusana have been appointed as spokespersons of the party during its State secretariat meeting held on December 29 .

A press release issued by assistant secretary, MSC-CPI stated that the meeting had resolved to demand unconditional release of the party's Manipur unit secretary L Sotinkumar.

It also decided to take up a series of awareness campaign with party's sympathisers, from January 1 to 7, to uncover the reasons for rapid rise of unemployment under the Modi led Government and the increasing rate of corruption to, the masses.

The statement continued that the meeting also resolved to take up resolute movements/agitations to demand immediate repeal of CAA.
