Imphal, July 30 2015: District Sports Complex Phubala which was inaugurated by Manipur Chief Minister O Ibobi on September 11, 2013 lacks quality, alleged secretary general of Gandhi Memorial Club on Thursday.

A press note released by the club said that the sports complex constructed by Manipur Development Society (MDS) was handed over to the State Govt by Phubala people hoping that it would be a beautiful sports complex.

But Govt failed to maintain quality in the construction as the gallery and wall have cracked, said the statement.

Urging the authorities to immediately look into the matter, the local club has warned of agitation with the support of the locals if the govt ignores the demands.
