Wangkhei AC meritorious students feted

Thoubal, August 28 2022: Wangkhem Block Congress Committee (WBCC) on Sunday felicitated meritorious students of Wangkhem assembly constituency who secured positions as well as scored high marks in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination-2022 conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) in a function held at Social and Economic Development Organisation (SEDO) ground, Yairipok bazar.

The function was attended by Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) treasurer & Khundrakpam MLA Thokchom Lokeshwar as chief guest and MPCC president & Wangkhem MLA Keisham Meghachandra as president, while WBCC president Kera-mat Ali, Yairipok High School retired headmaster Keisham Joykumar and Wangkhem Block Mahila Congress Committee president Konsam Kunjamani Devi were present as guests of honour.

As part of the event, HSLC Exam 2022 10th position holder Cindrella Moirangthem (Sacred Heart School Yairipok), 16th position holder Keisham Shageinganba Meitei (Memorial Model School Yairipok), both from Bishnunaha Awang Leikai; 16th position holder Thokchom Abinash Singh (Peace And Freedom Academy, Haokha Sorarel) of Haokha Mamang Leikai; and 23rd position holder Sagolshem Kananbala Devi (Khomdon Educational Blooming Institute, Charangpat) of Charangpat Mayai Leikai along with five students each from high schools located in Wangkhem AC who passed in 1st division were presented with cash prizes, citations and stoles.
