Lions Club of Imphal celebrates 47th Birth' Day

Imphal, June 23 2014: Lions Club of Imphal District 322D celebrated its 47th Foundation Day (Charter Night Celebration) at Tampha Hotel here Sunday with Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam attending as Chief Guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Gaikhangam said that Lions Club movement which is spread all over the world has been rendering humanitarian service which is commendable and exuded confidence that the club will come up with even more better service for people of the State in future too.

Gaikhangam further said that though the country is developing, it could not look after the needs of the people but the Lions Club with its all hard efforts has been extending assistance reaching out to people regardless of caste, religion and creed.

Presided over by Th Nabachandra, president of Lions Club of Imphal District 322D, the celebration was also attended and H Manikumar, Governor MJP, Lions Club of Imphal District 322D as Guest of Honor.
