Imphal, March 23 2025: JCI Imphal Iconics in coordination with NCD state division and NCD district cell, Imphal West conducted screening camp for hypertension and diabetes mellitus at Kalibari, Thangal bazar on Sunday.

Around 100 individuals particularly from Imphal city areas came out for screening hypertension and diabetes mellitus at the camp.

Regarding the camp, JCI Zone-25 vice president Komal Jain told media persons that JCI Imphal Iconics have taken up many significant programmes for the welfare of the people particularly those residing in Imphal city areas.

In the past, JCI Imphal Iconics constructed public toilets, provided artificial limbs to disabled persons and hearing aids to hearing impaired persons, she said and appealed to the people to support the organisation's welfare programmes.

JCI Imphal Iconics president Deepika Jain also said that the health camp was conducted to help the people maintain fitness and also provide necessary medical assistance.

She thanked the medical team for making the camp a successful one.
