Aizawl, February 22 2015: With the detection of Swine flu (H1N1) virus in the state recently, Mizoram Health Department, as part of preventive and precautionary measures will begin inspection and examination on passengers at Lengpui airport from Monday.

Speaking to 'Zalen' a leading Sunday paper in the state, officials of Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) said that they have asked permission from Aviation department for carrying out inspection and surveillance of passengers at airport the task of which is expected to begin from Monday.

According to officials of IDSP, recently a Non-Mizo from the State was found infected with H1N1 virus after his return from Delhi on February 13 .
