Manikanta feted at different places of Hiyanglam

Kakching, September 20 2021: BJP Election Campaign Committee, Hiyanglam AC under the aegis of Hiyanglam MLA Dr Radheshyam Yumnam accorded warm welcome to Manikanta Mutum at different places of Hiyanglam.

Manikanta Mutum set out on a lonely foot tour on September 10 with the message 'No to Drugs, Our Green World' and he will cover different districts of Manipur and Manipuri-inhabited areas of Assam during the tour.

A felicitation ceremony for Manikanta was held on Monday at Langmeidong bazar.

The ceremony or ganised under the aegis of MLA Dr Radheshyam was also attended by committee president Yumnam Ibobi Singh, secretary Thounaojam Laxman and functionaries of the committee Yumnam Samuremba, Thounaojam Sanatomba and others.

Kakching Runners also felicitated Manikanta Mutum when he reached Kakching and before he proceeded to other parts of the district on Sunday.

Manikanta hails from Lilong Chajing Karam and his tour is being organised by WE 4 U and Karam Awang Leikai Young Club and supported by Women Against Crime.

Langthabal MLA Karam Shyam flagged off Manikanta's tour on September 10 from the western gate of Kangla.

Supporting and encouraging Manikanta's tour, volunteers of Joint Co-ordination Committee on Wildlife & Biodiversity (JCCWB), Manipur organised a simple felicitation function at Khongjom War Memorial Complex on September 18.During the tour, Manikanta along with dignitaries who attended the felicitation functions and volunteers also planted tree saplings.
