BJP Tamenglong dismisses formation of District Councillors' Forum

Tamenglong, July 18 2014 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tamenglong on Thursday dismissed the formation of BJP District Councillors' Forum, Tamenglong to look into the welfare and developmental works of the district.

In this regard, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tamenglong held an emergency meeting at its office and strongly condemned the formation of the BJP District Councillors' Forum Tamenglong which was reported in some local dailies under the caption "Bharatiya Janata Party: District Councillors Forum, Tamenglong" .

"Lungsu Panmei is a sitting MDC of the Congress party from Chramram MDC Segment of 52(Tamei) ST/AC till date.

The statement asserted that the so called Forum was formed by self-vested interest politicians without full consultation, consent and acknowledgement by-passing the state and district leaders beyond the constitution of BJP.

Such self-style formation of Forum is illegal and unfounded in the by-laws of BJP.
