PNBA expresses displeasure with IM

Poumai Naga Baptist Association (PNBA) consisting of mission workers, pastors, planning committee, executive council members expressed displeasure with NSCN (I-M) today for restricting the Naga Christian leaders of Manipur including the Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam, ministers and MLAs to have fellowship with Poumai Naga Baptist believers during its penitential fellowship at Shomai village on December 13 .
A press release issued by PNBA stated that the association's members and the host villagers were greatly discouraged and expressed resentment for restricting to have joint worship with the Naga Christian leaders.
It also pointed that out that such fellowship programme was allowed to take place in other places and with other Naga associations and questioned why such restriction to Poumai land alone.
Such injustice and indifferent attitude to the particular community was highly questionable added the statement.
