Non-disbursal of salary, pension adds burden: JAC of AMTUC & AMGEO

Imphal, September 14 2024: While pointing out that the conflict spanning for more than 16 months has been affecting the people terribly and economy of the state, the Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of All Manipur Trade Unions' Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Govt Employees' Organisation (AMGEO) said that the non-disbursal of salary and pension by the state government has added more burden to the people.

In a release, JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO said that the salary and pension of the employees are circulating the market.

Yet the government is disregarding their repeated appeals for timely disbursal of salary and pension.

It further urged the government to stop releasing salary and pension after MLAs and ministers take their share when RBI releases fund/money.
