Raising strong objection against conducting entrance test for admission to class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya allegedly in violation of Covid relevant SOP, the People's Task Force for Covid-19 (PTFC) said that the state government and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti shall be held' responsible if the entrance test turns out to be super spreader of Covid-19.In a statement, PTF-C strongly decried the entrance test held on August 11 amid the prevailing situation of the pandemic.
The entrance test was held at a time when the schools and colleges of the state are forced to close down and board exams cancelled to avoid gathering of students and break the transmission chain of Covid-19.There are reports of several students, who appeared in the entrance test, getting Covid positive results after the test.

Given the reports, there are high possibilities of several students, who are not yet eligible to get Covid vaccine getting infected with the infectious disease and if any such incidences occur, the government and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti shall be held responsible, the statement said.
It also informed that PTFC distributed Arsenic Alb-30, Aconit-30 and Ayush 64 to 1165 individuals of different localities in Imphal West district through local Covid Task Forces on Friday.
