Imphal, January 14 2025:
The relay hunger strike initiated by Uripok Apunba Lup and Uripok Nupi Apunba Lup, demanding justice for the tragic Jiribam killings - where six people, including three children and three women, were brutally murdered by Kuki narco-terrorists - has now completed two months.
Speaking at the sidelines, Uripok Apunba Lup publicity secretary Chingtham Nambam expressed concern that despite the relay hunger strike having completed two months demanding justice for the victims of the Jiribam killings, the state government continues to remain unaffected and indifferent.

He pointed out that the authorities have yet to arrest any of those responsible for the deaths of three women and three children.
Nambam also questioned the rationale behind the Silence of both the state and central governments, given that the lives of the people have been in constant danger for the past two years.
He questioned aS to how citizens of the world's largest democracy could live with such uncertainty.
On the 60th day of the relay hunger strike, the people of Uripok Mayai Leikai participated in the morning session, followed by the residents of Uripok Achom Leikai and Nagamapal Singjubung Leirak in the afternoon and evening, respectively.
