MSF observes 17th foundation day

Imphal, October 13 2015: Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) observed its 17th foundation day on Tuesday at the Konjeng Hajari Leikai community hall.

The function was attended by All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) advisor KT Rehman as chief guest, MSF president Serajuddin as president and Committee on Human Rights (COHR) chairman Phulindro Konsam as guest of honour.

Giving the keynote address, MSF joint secretary Thiyam Sushilkumar Luwang said that MSF's educational programme "Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamsi" has helped a lot of students in achieving their educational goals and such moral educational awareness programmes will be held continuously.

Speaking at the function, KT Rehman said that people of Manipur are not happy with the O Ibobi Government on the Naga Peace Accord that was signed on August 3 last between Government of India and NSCN (IM) .

People are also not happy with the BJP Manipur Pradesh President Th Chaoba who said that RN Ravi had assured him that the interests of the state would not be harmed by the peace accord.

But it was during BJP's rule that the word "Without Territorial Limit" was brought into Manipur and claimed 18 lives, said KT Rehman and appealed to people from all walks of life in the state to avoid communal feelings and focus on bringing peace, unity and integrity.
