BJP Tousem Mandal critical of Cong Govt's failure

Tamenglong, July 10 2014: Bharatiya Janata Party Tousem Mandal convened a meeting at its office at Guigailong Tamenglong Ward No.II yesterday and resolved to check the negligence of the Congress government in Tousem area and ensure to work at grassroots level with transparency.

Disclosing this to Hueiyen Lanpao, D.Apung, President of the Mandal, informed that the meeting discussed some development issues and failure in implementing of programmes like MI dam construction, road connectivity, MGNREGS, health and sanitation, besides resolving to re-activate the SDC headquarter at Thiulon village in Tousem sub- division.

The meeting also resolved to organise enrolment drive in the area, he added.

He also informed that a joint political awareness in Tamei and Tousem will be held on July 30 .

The BJP Tousem Mandal also reportedly formed a MDC segment committee with Jonnyson as convenor in Oinamlong segment and Thiuning as convenor in Magulong segment for effective enrolment to the party.

Another party meeting at Peaceland in Noney resolved to expand its party and form a committee to have close coordination between the leaders and general public.

As many as 200 primary members were enrolled in BJP during the meeting at Noney, party sources said.
