150 tested, no positive case detected: Uripok Lup

Imphal, September 07 2021:
Uripok Apunba Lup and YES Charitable Health Centre jointly organised random Covid-19 testing of public transporters, street vendors, shop owners and workshop mechanics at Uripok Cheirap court opposite BT flyover on Tuesday.
During the voluntary testing drive, around 150 persons were examined through the Rapid Antigen Test process by personnel of Health Centre but no one was found positive for the infectious disease.
Majority of those tested during the drive was found to have received first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
In a release, Uripok Apunba Lup publicity secretary Chingthang Nambam reiterated that the shop own ers, street vendors and public transporters operating in Uripok area shall have to possess Covid vaccination certificate or report of Covid testing done within 72 hours, failing which they would be barred from their plying their trades within the jurisdiction of the Lup.
Urging everyone to strictly follow standard operating protocol (SOP) and help in fighting the pandemic, Chingthang exhorted all to conduct Covid test timely and get vaccinated without fail.
