Extending monetary aid to Robinhood's family continues

Monetary aid from local clubs, other organizations and individuals continued to extend to the family of late Sapam Robinhood while the demand of Inner Line Permit System in the State was intensified
on Friday.
The titular queen of Manipur along with members of Sana Konung Meira Paibi Lup and Palace Compound Youth Welfare Club provided monetary help to Robinhood's family and also paid respect to the departed soul by observing a two-minute silence.
"Robinhood sacrificed his life for the indigenous communities of Manipur by demanding implementation of ILPS.
We should present the ILPS as a gift to Robinhood and for that end everyone should put pressure on the Govt," said the titular queen while visiting the residence of Robinhood.
Various organisations including Uripok Huidrom Leikai Development Committee, Iroisemba Youth Development Club and Iroisemba Meira Paibi Lup, United Friends Library and Club Lamboi Khongnangkhong, Lamboi Khongnangkhong Apunba Nupi Lup, Tera Sayang Lambi Meira Lup, Sagolband Sayang Usha Bhawan Club and Sayang Ningthou Meira Paibi, Patsoi Part-1 Meira Paibi Lup and Youth Welfare Club, Khongnang Pheidekpi Apunba Meira Paibi Lup, Phaknung Social Youth Club also provided monetary aids to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, METALHEADS organised a sit-in protest at the Keishampat Leimajam Leikai community hall.
Members of the music band joined the protest wearing black clothes.
Young Development Organisation, Lukram Leirak also organised a sit-in protest at Lukram Leirak.
The protesters also resolved to support the JCILPS-led movement and demanded punishment to the police personnel who mercilessly pulled the hair of a minor girl student during a protest recently.
