State students meet President Murmu

Imphal, November 05 2024:
Twenty students from Andro, Yairipok, Yambem and Angtha villages under Imphal East and Thoubal districts met President of India Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on Monday.
In a release, PRO Defence informed that during an interaction, the students presented a memento to the President and shared their dreams and aspirations, expressing how life journey of the President inspires them.
The tour conducted by the Spear Corps of Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavna had the students visiting various cultural and historical places, including Qutub Minar, National Museum, India Gate, National War Memorial and Delhi Haat.
They also participated in educational tours at the Delhi Metro Museum and the National Science Centre.
On Monday, the students visited the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, Manipur Bhawan, Nehru Planetarium, Humayun's Tomb and Indian Air Force Museum.
The tour team embarked on their journey to Agra, Uttar Pradesh, according to the PRO, stating that the initiative aims to promote national integration and empower young minds through exposure to the rich cultural heritage of India.
The students are scheduled to return here on November 12 .
