'Meeyamgi Numit' for Bishnupur on Feb 7 & 8, Kamjong on Feb 7

Imphal, February 05 2025: Bishnupur district administration will organise 'Meeyamgi Numit' on February 7 and 8 at Kumbi Government High School Ground from 11 am onwards, according to an office memorandum issued by Bishnupur deputy commissioner (DC).

Similarly, DC Rangnamei Rang Peter has notified that 'District Hill Leaders' Day' and 'Meeyamgi Numit' for Kamjong district will be held at K Somrei village Panchayat court in Kasom Khullen sub-division from 10:30 am onwards on February 7 .

In a notification, the DC informed that for smooth functioning and better facilitation and coordination, a special dedicated Meeyamgi Numit Cell has been constituted led by Syed Amjad Ali, who is AC to Kamgjong DC, as the district co-ordinator and Kamjong SDC (HQ) Disin Gangmei as assistant co-ordinator.

The notification continued that interested person may send his/her grievances on the aforementioned WhatsApp number's and e-mail ID, prior to conduct of the government initiative to held every fourth Friday of the month.

The DC further directed Kamjong SP, divisional forest officer, CEO/ADC, SDOs and DLOs to attend the event compulsorily in person so as to settle/dispose of grievances on the spot.
