Imphal, September 03 2014: Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal today organized a "see-off ceremony" for the two young participants for International RYLA 2014 to be held at Darjeeling from 5th to 7th September 2014 .

International RYLA 2014 (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards 2014) is a leadership program organized to energize the youths who are under the clubs in Rotary International District 3240 .

It may be mentioned that in Rotary International calendar, the month of September is marked as "New Generation Month" .

The venue of this event is the picturesque location of prestigious Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) at Darjeeling and altogether about 68 young candidates between 12 to 18 years including 18 International candidates from the neighbouring countries will be participating in this leadership programme.

Manipur will be represented by two young students namely Rajkumar Dumber Singh of Human Resource Development Academy and Lienna Thoirei of Brighter Academy.

Both of them are being sponsored by Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal.

Many renowned resource persons and experienced Rotarians including Rtn.

Jamling Tenzing Norgay will teach and train the participants through 20 different sessions.

Leadership development, panel discussion on value education, career awareness and counselling, time management, leadership challenges � dreaming big, decision making and problem solving, communication dynamics, building self confidence and self esteem and many outdoor activities focusing on team building are some of the sessions that are to be covered during this leadership programme.
