IW police, Bazar community send relief materials

SP (Imphal West) Kh Shivakanta on Sunday flagged off a joint team of Imphal West district police and Bazar community along with relief materials for the rescue operation being carried out at the Tupul Railway sub-station landslide spot.
Imphal West district police and Bazar community donated the relief materials for the rescue team engaged in the operation to locate the missing victims.
Interacting with the media, SP Shivakanta said that the relief materials include three bags of sugar, 30 boxes of Ruskit drycake, 50 cartons of 500 ml packaged drinking water, one carton of Godzilla mosquito coil, 1000 pieces of disposable glasses, 40 boxes of Appy and Fruity juice, 19 boxes of Bounce cake, 10 boxes of Parley-G biscuit, three boxes of 20-20 biscuits, eight boxes of Marie biscuit, four boxes of Marie Light biscuit, 10 boxes of Happy cake, two boxes of Coconutty cake, two boxes of Cream cake, two boxes of Mix biscuits, 6 kg of tea leaf, two boxes of Walyte ORS powder and 200 pieces of soaps.
Voluntary Help Unit Committee RIMS also provided relief materials for the ongoing rescue operation at Tupul landslide spot on Sunday.
Committee in-charge Solomon handed over the relief items to SDO Noney at the district s DC office complex.
The committee members also observed a two-minute silence in honour of the departed souls while sharing the grief and pain of the bereaved families.
