Clean & Green campaign launched

Moreh, January 02 2014: A year-long Clean & Green Campaign, 2014 was launched yesterday by Hermon Junior High School, Moreh in the presence of Brig (retd) Suresh Datt, Commander (Indian Navy) Arun Jyoti, SDPO Moreh H Balaram and OC Commandos Vaiphei.

In all 14 saplings were planted to mark the occasion.

Members of various communities also attended the launching ceremony of the campaign during which Lalngurliana, Board Member of the School, pledged that the school would continue to plant more trees in its endeavour for a clean and green surroundings.

Speaking on the occasion, SDPO Moreh H Balaram complimented the school for the initiative taken up, which he felt would help in beautifying the border town.
