IGAR (South) flags off 'run for unity'

Imphal, October 31 2014 : On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, being commemorated as 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas', Maj Gen Rajeev Chopra, IG AR (South) flagged off the 'Run for Unity' at Mantripukhri with a call for unity across different religions, castes and communities.

This drive was ardently followed in letter and spirit by all officers and troops along with their families in IGAR (South), thereafter, a pledge was taken by all for unity of the nation under the stewardship of Maj Gen Rajeev Chopra, IG AR (South).

The drive received an overwhelming response from all the sectors and the units under IGAR(S) .
