Imphal, May 31 2021:
Strongly refuting the news report published by some Indian media on May 29 under the headline 'Three Manipur insurgency leaders killed in Myanmar in group clash' which was uploaded on social media by some people as well in Manipur, the proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) said the news report was baseless and falsely to create enmity.
Reacting sharply to the news report, a PREPAK statement said the news report was intentionally prepared by India as part of its own big 'sabotage propaganda' to disrupt and break up revolutionary movement being launched to bring an egalitarian society as well as to free people of Manipur from the prolonged suppressive Indian regime.
There is no reason for the people of Manipur to be disheartened by such 'sabotage propaganda' of enemy India with the intent of creating problem within the outfit when revolutionary fighters and leaders are mentally and physically shouldering their responsibility to carry forward the revolutionary movement amidst the thin line of life and death.
The PREPAK statement issued by its department of publicity and propaganda's publicity officer Achouba further said that it is universally accepted that media plays great role in the fight for colonial powers to extend colonialism and colonised country to sneak out from colonial yoke.
Accordingly, both the colonial owners and groups of colonised countries demanding freedom always try to bring media on their sides.
When India was under colonial British administration, two types of media worked separately in India, colonial media and national media.
Despite facing pains and hurdles, some nationalist media stood steadfastly for the freedom movement and played important role in achieving India's independence.
When India expanded its colonial policy widely, media were allowed to play big role and this was fully understood by revolutionary groups and people of Manipur from the early period and other countries fully understood that India is a big country with expansionist policy.
Though nationalist media were born during its freedom movement, India gave birth to colonial media only now and this type of media play big role in suppression of freedom movement in WESEA region as well as those demanding human rights within India, the PREPAK statement said, adding that none of the Indian media supported any freedom movement in the world.
Even if India's colonial media did not support freedom movement in WESEA region, truth about freedom movement in WESEA region have been grabbing attention and support of the international community owing to killings and excessive actions of 'Indian Occupational Force'.
As Indian media concealed killings and excessive actions of security forces, suppressed and helpless people of Maoist hit states of India are exposing such incidents by circulating leaflet and booklet.
By looking into this side, it is a big question as to when will Indian journalists bag World Press Freedom award given to global journalists in recognition of their courage to work for humanity.
In fact, the recent activities of PTI and Indian Express were nothing less than the responsibility of colonial media and PREPAK and its Red Army would have no other option than to treat and look at these media houses just like Indian Occupational Force.
It would be impossible for sabotage propaganda of these media houses to create misunderstanding in the outfit or derail the revolutionary movement.
PREPAK and its armed wing Red Army will stand steadfastly till achieving the goal of bringing an egalitarian society, which the three deceased leaders had wanted.
