Meeting with political parties held

Ahead of nomination process for the first phase of polling for the Assembly election 2022 which is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Churachandpur district election officer and DC Pawan Yadav chaired a meeting with representatives of all recognised national and state political parties and intending candidates and discussed matters relating to candidates' permission, offline/online nomination process on Monday at DCs Conference Hall, Mini-Secretariat Complex, Churachandpur.
The political parties' representatives and intending candidates were sensitised on the use of SUVIDHA, ENCORE and c-VIGIL.
The DEO also briefed the representatives on the importance of Covid-19 vaccination and the importance of observing the extant Covid-19 protocols like wearing of mask and maintaining social distance norms and carrying hand sanitizer.
He informed that during the nomination filling process, only two vehicles will be allowed in the campus and the number of persons along with candidate for submission of nomination is restricted to three (3).The whole process will be video-recorded and will be under CCTV scanner, he added.
The representatives were also briefed on other pertinent issues such as intermediate strongrooms, etc.
SUVIDHA and C-vigil district nodal officer briefed and familiarised the participants on the use of ENCORE and SUVIDHA websites with special focus on filling online nomination and e-affidavit.
Representative of political parties clarified their doubts and queries during the briefing from the resource person.
