Bishnupur, January 30 2018: A delegation from the National Defence College under the Ministry of Defence today visited and inspected Bishnupur district headquarters.

The 18-member team was led by Major General Vinaya Chandran (YSM, SM) and also consisted of foreign military delegates from Israel, Japan and Nigeria.

A joint meeting between the Bishnupur district administration (along with its DLOs) and the delegation was held at the conference hall of the Mini Secretariat.

Pawan Yadav, Bishnupur DC and Yogeshchandra H, SP led the district team.

The team studied and raised questions to the officials concerned on different areas of development, Panchayati Raj, law and order, women empowerment, health, education, power, the functioning of NGOs etc.

After having lunch at Sendra Resort, the team conducted site visits at certain areas of the district later in the afternoon.
