Entrepreneurship awareness camp held

A one-day awareness programme on 'Entrepreneurship with Aromatic & Medicinal Plants' was organised by MSME-Technology Centre, Imphal in collaboration with Botany Department of Waikhom Mani Girls' College, Thoubal at the college's seminar hall on Friday.
The function was attended by College principal professor H Manoranjan Sharma, Manipur Industrial Development Council chairman P Loken Singh, Ima Chenghi founder Sanasam Birendra, Kumshungba proprietor Dr W Sujata Devi and MSME-Technology Centre, Imphal deputy director Dr Sinam Yoirentomba Meitei as presidium members.
During the technical session, Dr Yoirentomba Meitei spoke on "Prospects of Entrepreneurship with Aromatic and Medicinal Plants", while P Loken Singh deliberated on "Present Status of Small Industries and MSMEs in Manipur" as Dr W Sujata shared her experience on value-added herbal products and displayed some of the products, and Sanasam Birendra elaborated on "Creating a Vertical of Entrepreneurship with the Conservation of Age-Old Traditional Practices" besides displaying related products.
