Imphal, November 26 2013: Like in other parts of the country, High Court Bar Association of Manipur observed the National Law Day at the conference hall of the Association here today.

The observance was attended by Th Ibohal, Advocate General, Manipur as Chief Guest and M Hemchandra, vice-president of High Court Bar Association of Manipur as functional President.

Senior Advocates N Pramodchandra, RK Nokulsana, L Shyamkishor, I Lalitkumar,Ibotombi Namoijam, Sh Paonam; Khaidem Mani, who is also the president of All Manipur Bar Association; C Kamal, Assistant Solicitor; Kh Nobin, Addl Advocate General and RS Raisang, Senior Government Advocate were among other who were present on the dais.

Speaking on the occasion, Th Ibohal noted that the Indian Constitution as compared to others is much appreciated throughout the world and expressed his willingness for proper implementation of legal works so that every section of the society could enjoy all the rights provided in the constitution.

During the observance, a two minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to late Hijam Nabakumar, president of High Court Bar Association of Manipur.
