Kangpokpi, January 24 2020: The Kuki Liberation Organization/Kuki Liberation Army (KLO/KLA), an entity of tripartite peace talks with the Government under the umbrella of Kuki National Organization (KNO), has clarified on the allegation made by KNF-N in connection with the 'murder' ofHengjang village chief and his nephew.

The outfit information and publicity secretary, Kennedy Kuki said that the Kuki National Front-Nehlun, a non SoO Kuki militant claiming involvement of KLO/KLA in the brutal murder ofHengjang village chief and his nephew as published in some local dailies under the headlines of "KNF-N Boycotts Republic Day' is baseless and unfounded.

He recalled that clarification had already been made earlier over the non-involvement of KLO/KLA in the 'brutal double murder case' while adding that KLO/KLA is an entity of the tripartite peace talks with the Government under the umbrella of KNO and it is strictly abiding by the SoO ground rules.

He also clarified that the claimed of KNF-N over Haogoulen alias Jalen Khongsai of Chalwa village in IT Road areas as Town Commander of Kangpokpi and his hands on the double murder case is purely concocted and baseless while clarifying that Haogoulen alias Jalen Khongsai has nothing to do with the killing of Hengjang chief and his nephew and he is also not the Town Commander of Kangpokpi as alleged by KNF-N.The outfit also appeals the KNF-N to stop making unfounded allegation in future to avoid misunderstanding which can affect the peaceful co-existence.
