Training programme for political parties held

Imphal, December 22 2021:
For free and fair conduct of the forthcoming elections to Manipur Legislative Assembly 2022, a training programme for all recognised National Political Parties and State Political Parties was held on Wednesday at the Conference Hall of the office of Chief Electoral Officer, (CEO) Lamphelpat.
As the programme, additional CEO Naorem Praveen Singh sought cooperation from all stakeholders including political parties for smooth conduct of the election.
Respective State Nodal Officers (SNOs) imparted training on the topics related to election namely Model Code of Conduct, Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC), Compaint & e-Vigil Application, Expenditure Management and IX applications such as Voter helpline/Permission/Nomination module/MCC relaxation among others.
Representatives of political parties also clarified their doubts and queries during the training from the concerned state nodal officers.
Joint CEO Ramananda Nongmeikapam, joint CEO (II) Md S Daulat Khan, SNO for Election Expenditure Monitoring (EEM) Konsam Binku, SNO for Model Code of Conduct (MCC) Yasser Ahmed, SNO for c-Vigil L Radhakanta Singh, SNO for Media W Phajatombi Devi and other officials concerned were also present in the training programme.
