AMAND's Meitei Mayek tutorial concludes

Imphal, July 21 2014: The beginners' tutorial programme on "Meitei Mayek Script (Manipuri Script)" organized by Association of Manipuri Diaspora (AMAND), Pune since June 8 concluded at Pune University yesterday.

The final examination was also conducted in two categories, namely below 18 years and above 18 years.

Soubam Ongbi Ranjana Devi topped in the above 18 years category securing 97.5 marks out of 100 and Huidrom Ongbi Bala Devi stood second by securing 96.5 out of 100 marks.

Both are house wives and 1st time learners.

In the below 18 years category, Nancy Huidrom, a class VII student of St.

Joseph High School, Pashan topped by securing 99 marks out of 100 marks, according to a statement issued by Dr H Narendra Singh, General Secretary of AMAND, Pune.
