Th Romen appointed UP-Ram Vilas Manipur working president

Thounaojam Romen Singh has been appointed as the Manipur State working president of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and Thokchom Bungojit as Imphal West district president.
The appointment letters were handed over to the duo by LJP national general secretary and Northeast Youth secretary Wangkheirakpam Shreeman Singh in a function held at Hotel Imphal, here, on Wednesday.
According to Shreeman, the appointments were made after party leader Chirag Paswan become the union minister of food processing.
He said that the appointments in various states are being carried out for the welfare of the people.
Newly appointed state working president, Th Romen vowed to strengthen the party along with confiding that the party plans to held candidates in the upcoming 2027 state assembly elections.
He also assured to urge union minister Chirag Paswan to help resolve the on-going crisis in Manipur through the national president and general secretary.
In his speech, state president Khoirom Dipu recounted how the party came into being in 2007 and about steps taken under union minister Chirag Paswan to set up a food processing training centre in Manipur and proposals made for pineapple and orange plantation in hill areas.
He further said that national leaders of the party would be urged to help resolve the conflict in the state.
