MLA blamed for 'regressive' Kshetrigao AC

Imphal, November 16 2021: Pointing out that the BJP governments both at the centre and in the state have been taking up development works for the people, BJP intending candidate in Kshetrigao A/C Kh Lakhikumar alias Lamyanba Eepu expressed strong resentment that development could not be brought in Kshetrigao AC despite having a BJP MLA.

Speaking during an awareness programme on government schemes held at his Top Awang Leikai residence on Tuesday, Lakhikumar noted that people in other constituencies are witnessing the changes that have been brought with the coming of the BJP led government.

However, Kshetrigao AC remains underdeveloped in several sectors despite having a BJP MLA.

As such, he will contest the upcoming election, he added.

The failure of the MLA to ensure the benefit of the government policies and schemes to the people has vividly shown that the MLA is incapable, said the BJP ticket sector.

In his address, BJP Medical Cell convenor Dr Dinesh Upadhay urged the people to elect BJP candidates in the upcoming election to ensure holistic development in the state.

Among others, the programme was attended by RSS Sangathan national general secretary Basanta.
