Sainik School, Imphal celebrates 44th anniversay

Imphal, October 07 2015: Sainik School, Imphal celebrated its 44th Raising Day on Wednesday with great enthusiasm and gaiety.

The celebration started with a wreath laying ceremony at the Martyrs' Pillar by the officers, staff, ex-students and cadets of the school.

As part of the celebration, a Philately Workshop cum Exhibition was organised by Postal Department, Manipur under the guidance of Vinod Kumar, Director and L Tiken Singh, Asst Superintendant of Postal Services.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Group Captain (Dr) DD Mishra, Principal of Sainik School.

Various entertainment programme and games were conducted as part of the celebration.

Ex- teachers, students, and staff of the school also attended the function.
