Imphal audition held for Miss/Mister NE

Imphal, December 04 2024: Mega Entertainment recently conducted auditions for the 21st Livon Mega Miss North East and the 14th Set Wet Mega Mister North East at Hotel Bheigo, here.

As per a release, aspiring participants showcased their talents and interacted with several former winners, including Martin Irengbam, the reigning Mega Mister North East, who shared valuable insights to help them prepare for the upcoming editions of these prestigious pageants.

The Imphal audition was conducted under the guidance of Mega Mister North East state director Kavita Keisham with the panel of judges comprising former Miss Lady Keane Shillong and Imphal College associate professor Sonia Ningthoujam, journalist and Mega Miss North East 2012 Ibethpi Thokchom, businessman and Mega Mister North East 2017 Suman Ningthoujam, actress and Mega Miss North East 2010 Soma Laishram, 18th Mega Miss North East and Miss Universe Manipur Danube Kangjam, and Martin Irengbam.

Martin secured the 1st runner-up position at the Mister Top Model of Universe Contest 2024, held in Istanbul, Turkey.

Conceptualised by fashion entrepreneur Abhijeet Singha, these pageants are organised by Mega Entertainment and marketed by Mega Activation, said a Mega Entertainment release, adding that auditions have already been held in Itanagar, Aizawl, Gangtok, Agartala, Dimapur, Shillong, and Guwahati.

The eight-state audition tour will culminate in Guwahati, Assam, where finalists of both pageants will undergo a week of professional grooming and training before competing at the grand finale on January 30 and 31, 2025, at the ITA Cultural Complex.

These pageants not only celebrate talent but also provide winners with unique international opportunities, empowering them to shine on global platforms and represent the vibrant culture of Northeast India, Mega Entertainment informed.
