Blood donation camp of DESAM to conclude tomorrow

Imphal, December 29 2020: The month long 73rd Mega Blood Donation camp being carried out by Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) on the occasion of its 19th Foundation Day will conclude tomorrow.

Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur stated that its volunteers will donate blood at RIMS, JNIMS and Shija Hospital tomorrow.

The blood donation camp is being held under the theme 'Maheiroi Khunai Amadi Leibak Meeyamgidamak Kathoklaba Ee' and it has been carried out to fulfil the demands of blood by patients amid the difficult times of COVID-19 pandemic when there is shortage of blood in the blood banks.

Around 152 donors have donated blood till date and eight donors donated blood at RIMS today, it added.

Further Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur appealed to everyone to donate blood to overcome the shortage of blood faced by the State.
