With an attempt to rehabilitate an illegitimate' woman and her children, a trust board christened Purnima Trust Board has been formed with Panti Golmei as the chairperson.
According to a statement, the other members of the board included Esther Shimray, Aram Pamei, Rev Simon L Raomei and Thaballei Jajo.
A homeless Purnima is tagged as a 'disgraced inheritance' from an unknown father to a mentally deranged mother and her childhood was chastised.
When she was married, the reality of being an illegitimate child all the more crucified in her.
Her documentary film, Gun and a God tells the story of the journey of a woman whose will was forged by the structural violence of her existence who finally finds her voice in a gun and justice in God, said the statement.
It added that first meeting of the board was held on Friday (Aug 23) at MBC Centre Church Conference Hall.
The meeting discussed issues like rehabilitation of Purnima and her two children, raising fund to fulfil Pumima's tong cherished dream of establishing a Home for mentally challenged women, women who are exploited, neglected stigmatised and ostracised by the family/society, modus operandi for generating income for Purnima Trust Board.
