9th issue of PANDAM released

Imphal, July 27 2013 : The 9th issue of monthly journal in Meetei Mayek "PANDAM" was released by Agriculture Director G Shamu Kabui at the conference hall of Agriculture Department here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Shamu Kabui said that Meetei Mayek has been added to school curriculum with sheer efforts of MEELAL activists.

The journal published in Meetei Mayek would be helpful in promoting the script to the masses.

He further stated that the State Government would soon formulate Agricultural Land Policy to protect the diminishing agricultural land in the State.

The release function was also attended by Deputy Director of Agriculture Department Ph Rajendra and Member of Advisory Board of PANDAM N Tomba.
