Students' residential camp

Bishnupur, May 26 2018:
Prior to the 29th Students' Emancipation Day 2018, a 5 day residential students' leadership camp organised by the All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) was kicked off Friday at Ningthoukhong Model Higher Secondary, Bishnupur.
AMSU president Manjit Sarangthem, AMSU Bishnupur District Committee president Boyai Ningthoujam and ANUL Bishnupur president Lourembam Pramo Devi attended the opening ceremony as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
A total of 100 students (boys and girls) from different schools are attending the camp.
The camp is organised acknowledging the roles of students in a society.
The camp aims at providing a platform and grooming the students of leadership qualities for future endeavours, said Manjit Sarangthem.
He further advocated for proper implementation of the National Curriculum Framework Rules 2005 under which the educational syllabus should be updated every 5 years to meet the required standards.
