Kakching, May 24 2018: A team of Special Task Force of Kakching Police on Thursday arrested 6 persons and seized about 210 litres of liquor from variousplaces under Kakching.

The individuals detained are identified as Naorem Pakpi Devi (42) w/o N Ratan Singh of Kakching, Sukham Arunkumar Singh (30) s/o S Iboyaima Singh of Keirak Mamang Leikai, Mayanglambam Bilashini Devi (50) w/o M Nobin Singh of Kakching Chumnang Leikai, Nongthombam Omita Devi (39) w/o Late N Inao Singh of Kakching Chumnang Leikai, Pukhrambam Gambhir Singh (46) s/o L P Babudhon Singh of Kakching Chumnang Leikai and Moirangthem Somorendro Singh (52) s/o L M Sanajaoba Singh of Kakching Khunyai Leikai, The arrested persons and the seized liquor have been handed over to the Excise Department for further necessary action, said police.
