Nemcha inspects developmental works

Kpi, January 24 2018: Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister Nemcha Kipgen today inspected the ongoing developmental projects in and around Kangpokpi District including the Henu (Ema) Market.

During the visit, the Social Welfare Minister as well as local MLA instructed all the people engaged in the project to speed up the work so that the market is completed by February this year.

She is hopeful that the market would provide all the woman in the district a source of livelihood and a platform to improve their income and economy of the State at large.

Later, the Minister also inspected the ongoing work for Block Resource Centres (BRCs), constructed under the Department of Education.

The building which is almost on the verge of completion will impart in-service training to school teachers.
