Imphal, July 22 2014: The road from Churachandpur to Sugnu will be constructed/repaired during a mass social work to be undertaken on July 23 under the joint leadership of MLA Ginsuanhau Zou and Sangaikot MDC Tongkhokai Baite, informed a reliable source.

The 22 Km long road from Churachandpur police station to Sangaikot T.D Block is very bumpy and muddy during the last four days and it takes one and a half hour to travel from Churachandpur town, the source said.

Villagers under 60- Singngat (ST) Assembly Constituency, Sangaikot T.D Block, in Churachandpur district, will take part in mass social work in which 2 JCB machines will be utilised to curve out the roadside canal, it said, while adding that the work is to be done under five days' programme of MGNERA.
