Imphal, January 22 2021: A voluntary blood donation camp was held yesterday in connection with 'Statehood Day Celebration 2021' .

The voluntary blood donation camp was jointly organised by Life Savers Manipur; State Blood Cell-NHM, Manipur; Sports Association for Visually Impaired (SAVI); State Blood Transfusion Council, Manipur and RIMS Blood Bank, said a statement issued by Life Savers Manipur.

The camp was attended by Dr A Barindra Sharma, Head and Professor, Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS; Dr K Rachandra, Asst Professor, Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS; K Padmakumar Sharma, Managing Director, Life Savers Manipur; Khundrakpam Premjit Singh, 66 times voluntary blood donor and Pebam Dhananjoy Singh, treasurer SAVI, added the statement.
