BJP readies to celebrate Murmu's poll win

Imphal, July 20 2022: With high hopes of NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu winning the presidential election, BJP Manipur Pradesh is all set celebrate the triumph for four days across the state.

Ahead of the declaration of poll results, which is scheduled for Thursday, chief minister N Biren, BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda, national spokesperson and Manipur in-charge Sambit Patra and party MLAs held a virtual meet on Wednesday.

The meeting decided to celebrate the victory in a historic way.

Chief Minister N Biren revealed this on the sidelines of a press conference held at the CM's secretariat here on Wednesday in connection with signing of an MoU regarding the landslide tragedy in Noney district.

He also appealed to the people of the state to get their doses of Covid vaccines in the light of the surging Covid-19 cases.
