Imphal, September 19 2015 : Manipur Alliance for Child Rights (MACR), Moirang Hanuba Leirak under the aegis of Child Rights and You organised the 6th Children's Cultural Meet 2015 on Saturday at Lamyanba Sanglen, Palace Compound under the theme "Ensure Flourishing Childhood for Peace and harmony." MCPCR chairperson S Sarat Kumar Sharma, CRY Kolkata associate general manager Ashim Kumar Ghosh attended the function as chief guest and president respectively while folk singer Miss Mangka and music director and singer Ranbir Thouna were the special invitees.

Giving the key note address, Manipur Alliance for Social Rights convener Montu Ahanthem said that the 6th Children's Cultural Meet was organised to send out a message to the world that the children of Manipur are voicing for ensuring a protective environment, cultural integrity, peace and harmony.

"It is also a platform to provide the children a cultural space to showcase their hidden talents and help in bringing communal harmony and peaceful coexistence among different communities of the State," said Montu Ahanthem .

He said if the children from all walks of life belonging to any ethnic group, religion, caste and class can come together then why we can't.
